If a tattoo has been performed within the last 48 hours, an emergency Li-FT removal can be done. This is because the skin has not fully formed it's epidermal crust and is able to absorb the saline solution.

After performing the emergency removal, the same aftercare instructions must be followed as the standard saline removal treatment to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results.
